Michael L. Laharty M.S. C.D.S. III Executive Director/C.E.O.
Michael is the founder of Creekside Counseling Inc. which was incorporated in April of 1990. He has 30 plus years of experience in both the Addictions and Mental Health field of treatment. He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from the University of Rhode Island in 1977, following his time spent in the Navy. His Masters of Science Degree was completed at Western Oregon University in 1980. He is pursuing his Doctorate in Addictions Psychology. Michael has worked in both the public and private sector, providing and supervising Outpatient and Residential treatment services He has been an instructor at two colleges and is very active in the community where he serves on several advisory boards
Anna Gilbert, AA, CADC II, QMHA, has a compassionate desire to assess the needs of those who have experienced negative consequences from their substance use and assist in providing a solution to their distress. Currently an Oregon Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor, she has been working in the alcohol and drug treatment field for the past three years. She has attained an Associate of Arts degree from Chemeketa Community College in the human services division. She is currently working towards her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Social Science at Portland State University and Level II Alcohol and Drug Counseling Certification.
Michele Mitchell, AA, CADC II, QMHA I am a straightforward and respectable person with a passion towards the recovery of substance abuse and dependence. I am currently attending Portland State University and am nearing completion of my Bachelor’s of Science and have tested for my CADC II in the June 2010. I have been working in the field for three years now, with the last two at Creekside Counseling, Inc as the Adolescent Drug Counselor. I am passionate about helping the youth of today find a better way of living substance free. In recent months I have been given the opportunity to also work with the adult male population and find it to be as exciting and challenging as working with teenagers.
